Zenkaikon V . I was playing around with a lot of gradients, which are a great way to color a piece rather quickly. I'm always inspired by a fellow illustrator/sensei of mine
Ryusuke Hamamoto, who uses this technique a lot in his work. I also discovered this neat halftone technique that I used to liven up the background on the piece (another big up to Ryusuke for this one). Check out

Thanks Reau. I agree, it's a pretty cozy convention! Hopefully i'll get a table there next year.
