Jean

No.2 of my quick X-men series.

Optic Blast!

For some weird reason I've been on an X-Men kick recently. Can't think of a reason why. I've always been a fan though, ever since I was a whee lad. Maybe I reminisce too much? Or maybe the X-Men are too awesome?

Anywho, I've decided to do a series of these uncanny portraits. Stay tuned :)

Green Goobly Goo

An actual non-digital piece I did for a colleague of mine.

It felt good to be back in the basics. Using just pencil, pen, and marker from start to finish. Along my digital coloring journey I had forgotten how good a hand drawn color piece can feel when everything is said and done. It's a feeling you just don't get with digital work.

USA Today

Something quick I threw together in a few days. I decided to not include the chainmail that recent renditions of Cap have featured. Personally I'm more of a fan of his old school costume . (Plus the chainmail takes waaaaaaayy too long to draw anyway :P )
