Playing around again with portraiture. Re-familiarizing myself with color theory.
This piece as well as the last were first done in graphite. Usually I'd ink over the graphite to give it more of a cleaner finish but I've found that skipping that step and going straight into color gives me almost the same look I want. Plus it saves me an hour or so of ink work.
